If you are feeling stresses at school you are not alone. Many young teenagers’ today face anxiety and depression resulting in School Stress. This should not be the case as school should be a fun and enjoyable place to be. Why are kids tressed at school? Teenagers are stressed out for numerous of different ways. Kids are stressed out from a result of not keeping up with homework and school assignments, not receiving the result they want, Kids stressing over their body appearance and stressing out that they’re not going to fit in with social groups. On behalf of “Kids Health” they conducted a survey on why teenagers are stressed at school. How Many children are actually stressed at school? We believe that stress at school is a serious issue today that needs to be fixed. We found out that over 1 million high school students are experiencing low to extreme cases off stress. After conducting another survey on behalf of kids health again we found out that kids are not handling stress as well as they should. WE found out that 25 percent of people who are experiencing stress are trying to fight the issue by themselves. Another 25 percent of teenagers try and create distractions to try and get their mind away from the problem they are experiencing, 22 percent of Teenagers ask and seek for help and the remaining 35 percent of teenagers try and reduce their stress but still have a stress related issue. We believe teenagers are not speaking up another which leads into anxiety and depression. Impact of stress The impact of stress at school can be small impacts to large impacts. Small impacts: There are small impacts of stress that people receive. These impacts occur when this is a test coming up soon or an assignment that may people coming up. The impacts that occur for this sort of stress are headaches, small dose of anxiety, inability to relax, sleep disruption for a short period of time and skipping events to focus on the test or assignment coming up. These impacts are very common in teenagers and most teenagers will experience these impacts during their schooling career. Large impacts: These large are the sad realities that can happen if you put yourself under too much stress. These stresses are not health and common stress these anxiety’s are severe and can cause serious problems. These large impacts consist of mild to severe depression, chest pains, dizziness, anger towards other people, high blood pressure and difficulty breathing. If you have any of these symptoms you need to speak up and seek help from a trusted adult. easy tips to release school work stress. Work out why you are stressed. If you identify why you are stressed it is a lot easier to single it out and get rid of the problem. Start with your wost subject first. If you have many subject assignments due at the same time sart off with your least favourite subject as most students avoid their worst subject and complete it at the last minute. . Do a little bit every night. If you have a test that might be coming up for example, make sure you revise a little bit every night instead of doing your revision in the last couple of days. Don’t let bad grades get to you. If you receive a few bad grades don’t let it worry you as it can be an incentive for you to do better next time. Realise school will be hard. Just accept that school will be difficult but don’t let it consume all your time. Eat and sleep well every night. Eating and sleeping are very important in helping you perform at school well as you have energy to work well. Have fun. Realise that school is not all about hard work and realise you can still have fun with your friends. be positive. Be positive about school and eve if you receive a few bad marks find the positives out of them. |
